Our Founder

Janice Briley

Janice Briley is a proud mother of three remarkable children, each with their own unique way of seeing and experiencing the world. Parenting them has been one of her greatest honors. Among them is her daughter, diagnosed with Autism at age 21—right at the edge of high school graduation. The journey to find the right support and services has been, in Janice’s words, “adventurous, tedious, and deeply rewarding.” Alongside her lived experience, Janice brings over two decades of professional expertise in early childhood education. She has served as both teacher and administrator in childcare centers, collaborated with Head Start programs, and worked directly with public preschool classrooms and the families they serve. Over the years, Janice has also come to recognize her own beautifully nuanced ways of processing the world—insights that offer even more empathy and understanding for the children and parents she supports. As a trusted colleague once put it, “She may not be professionally diagnosed, but she’s definitely peer-reviewed.” These life chapters—both personal and professional—have uniquely prepared Mrs. Briley for this calling: to encourage, educate, and walk alongside families on their own journeys.
